One game was all that stood between the John Carroll University men's tennis team and perfection on Saturday.
 
John Carroll topped host Muskingum 9-0 on Saturday afternoon in New Concord, Ohio.
 
The Blue Streaks quickly picked up three 8-0 wins at doubles. Jad Abdul-Aal and Nick Siciliano topped Mitch Hazard and Brandon Ortiz at No. 1. Scott Adsit and Dillon O'Brien picked up the win over Trayton McHale and Andrew Alexander at No. 2. Alex Guthrie and Ian Kurela capped the doubles sweep with a win over Gene Montgomery and Ben Winland.
 
JCU won five of its singles matches 6-0, 6-0. Abdul-Aal, Guthrie, Siciliano, Adsit and Kruela all kept their slates clean on Saturday.
 
O'Brien would post a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5.
 
The men's tennis team returns to action with a dual match at CWRU on Friday, March 27. The time of the match has yet to be announced.
