John Carroll rallied back in singles to take the 5-4 win over host Otterbein on Saturday afternoon in Westerville, Ohio.

Katherine Devine and
Tracy Gibson won 8-5 at No. 3 doubles to put the Blue and Gold on the board. JCU battled hard at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles with each JCU pairing falling in a tiebreaker.

Catherine Engel won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 singles to help spark the comeback.

Jennifer Stroyne picked up a key 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 at No. 3 singles against her sister's alma mater. Julie Stroyne was a four-time OAC Player of the Year for Otterbein from 2010-14.

JCU's final two singles wins came at No. 4 (Devine, 7-5, 6-3) and at No. 6 (
Natalie Bourlas, 6-3, 6-3).

JCU improved to 7-5, 3-0 OAC while OTT fell to 8-6, 3-3 OAC.
