John Carroll swept visiting Ohio Northern 9-0 to improve to 6-11 on the year but more importantly 5-1 in the OAC.

The Blue Streaks started the day in convincing fashion only dropped three games in doubles play.
Alex Guthrie and
Nick Siciliano cruised to the 8-0 win at No. 3.
Jad Abdul-Aal and
Kyle Mollison won 8-1 at No. 1 while
Scott Adsit and
Dillon O'Brien won 8-2 at No. 2.

Three JCU players dropped two or fewer games in singles play. O'Brien pitched the 6-0, 6-0 shutout at No. 6. Siciliano would win 6-2, 6-0 at No. 4. Adsit took his match at No. 5 6-0, 6-2.
Mollison and Guthrie won by identical 6-4, 6-4 scores at Nos. 2 and 3.

Abdul-Aal pulled out a tight match needing three sets for the 6-2, 4-6, 10-7 win over John Mostowny at No. 1. Abdul-Aal, a sophomore, has never lost an OAC singles match during his JCU career.

ONU fell to 6-9, 3-4 OAC with the loss.
