Box Score In winning for the sixth consecutive time, the Blue Streaks men's tennis team felt some push from the Mount Union Purple Raiders. In the end, it was John Carroll pushing demonstratively back.

Sweeping doubles and dominating singles produced an 8-1 victory for John Carroll in an Ohio Athletic Conference match staged at Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio.

Jad Abdul-Aal and David DiSense battled hard for an 8-6 win over Rob DeMarco and Jeff Williams in the #1 match, as did Scott Adsit and Dillon O'Brien in their #2 match against Jackson Schneider and Matt Bringman. The Blue Streak duo fought of a handful of match points to grab the important victory.

Only Nick Siciliano and Tyler Cole had a relatively easy time of it, winning 8-3 at #3 doubles.

Abdul-Aal had a very significant win at #1 singles, holding off reigning OAC Player of the Week Rob DeMarco 6-4 5-7 10-4. David Disense made quick work of Jeff Williams at #2 singles, 6-0 6-2

Siciliano, Cole and Adsit all won in straight sets at #4, #5 and #6 respectively.

John Carroll is now 7-6 overall and 4-0 in the OAC. Mount Union drops to 11-5 and 3-2 in league play.
