For the fourth consecutive year, the John Carroll men have earned a top three finish at the Ohio Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Using contributions from across the board, the Blue Streaks topped the century mark in the final team point totals. Mount Union successfully defended its title with 202 points, followed by Ohio Northern (171), John Carroll (103), Baldwin Wallace (79) and Otterbein (77).

On day two of the competiton held at Wilmington College in Wilmington, Ohio, the Blue Streaks had a spectacular day on the track.
Starting with the 4 x 100 relay, the combination of Jonathon Radney,
Austin McIlvaine,
Cole Weirich and
Nick Woods turned in a time of 42.48 to take third and earn All-OAC honors.
Ryan Scanlon followed with a point scoring effort in the 1500-meter run. He clocked in at 4:03.53 to claim eighth place.
The momentum continued with
Frankie Caponi finishing in sixth place in the finals of the 110 high hurdles (15.73).
In a tightly bunched 100-meter dash field in which second and eighth place was separated by just .33 of a second, Radney earned All-OAC status for the second time in his career in this event. he ran the race in a time of 11.19 to claim third place.
Will Cameron had a tremendous showing at the indoor league championships, and continued his solid year by winning a title in the outdoor conference meet. He won the 800-meter run in a time of 1:53.02, holding off Matt Molinaro of Ohio Northern (1:53.21) for first place.

Michael Hydzik made it a JCU party on the award stand by finishing third in a time of 1:54.17.
Radney continued his busy but successful day by finishing seventh in the final of the 200-meter dash (22.70).
Matt Andrews had a very strong showing in the 5,000-meter run, as he emerged as the league runner-up in a time of 15:16.57.
In the final race of the two-day competition, John Carroll captured yet another relay title. After winning the 4 x 800 Friday evening, the Blue Streaks bookended the weekend by crossing the finish line in first place in the 4 x 400 relay.  Hydzik, Woods, Cameron and Radney won the race in 3:19.93, holdimng off a strong challenge from Otterbein which took second in 3:20.34.
