Box Score A stretch of four matches in six days for the John Carroll men's tennis team began Tuesday afternoon, as the Blue Streaks breezed past Heidelberg University, 9-0, in an Ohio Athletic Conference affair staged in Pepper Pike, Ohio.

The Blue Streaks were solid in doubles on this afternoon, as JCU (tabbed #17 in the latest ITA/Oracle Central Region rankings) built a 3-0 lead.
Gustavo Garcia and
Dillon O'Brien had to go the distance to win 8-6 in the #2 slot, while the #1 team of
Jad Abdul-Aal and
David Sinense got back on track with an 8-0 win. The #3 pair of
Scott Adsit and
Adi Jha won by an 8-1 score in their first match as doubles partners.
The six singles matches were all straight set wins as the Blue Streaks outscored their Berg counterparts by a combined score of 72-5.
John Carroll is now 8-6 overall and 4-0 in conference action. Heidelberg falls to 3-11 overall and 2-4 in league action.
JCU will play Otterbein Thursday and Muskingum Saturday in league matches at home before facing Wooster on the road Sunday in a non-league contest.
