Men’s Tennis Falls to No. 9 Carnegie Mellon, 9-0

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The John Carroll University men's tennis team (9-8) completed its three-match weekend on Sunday in Pittsburgh against ninth-ranked Carnegie Mellon (13-5), where the Blue Streaks fell to the Tartans, 9-0.
 
JCU fell behind 2-0 in doubles play after losses at the first and third flights. The No. 2 doubles team of senior Tyler Cole and freshman Parker Holyn battled but ultimately fell 8-4.
 
Singles action was played simultaneously with the women's teams, where the Tartans claimed wins at the fourth and fifth singles flights to secure the match victory.
 
John Carroll closes out the regular season at Marietta on Saturday at 1 p.m.
