After taking their final exams, the John Carroll Rowing team departed for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to participate in the Dad Vails Regatta. Only three of the team's highest performing boats were chosen to race at this prestigious race, which attracts the most talented rowers in the entire country. All three boats fought hard against their tough competition, but came up short of qualifying for finals. The following day, the men's and women's varsity fours were able to race in the petite finals. For most of the rowers in these lineups, it was their last time rowing for John Carroll. The rowers were grateful for the opportunity to represent John Carroll against some of the toughest competition in the country.
