A historic season will continue this Tuesday night, as the outright Ohio Athletic Conference regular season champion John Carroll University women's basketball team will be the #1 seed for the first time in the league's postseason tournament
The Blue Streaks will host a quarterfinal round matchup in the OAC Tournament versus the Wilmington Quakers on Tuesday, February 19.
Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. inside the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center.

This will be the third meeting this season between John Carroll and the #8 seed Wilmington Quakers, and the second meeting in four days. JCU swept the regular season series with two wins over Wilmington (80-59 on January 15 in University Heights, 56-45 in Wilmington on February 16).
John Carroll (19-6, 15-3 OAC) enters this matchup on a five-game winning streak along with winning eight of its last ten contests.
The Blue Streaks are 11-1 in the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center this season with their only loss being a defeat against Oberlin College on November 17, 2018. JCU did not lose a conference match-up at home this year.
Nicole Heffington leads the team with 15.3 PPG.
Wilmington (11-14, 6-12 OAC) comes to University Heights with McKayla Binkley guiding the way in scoring with a team high 13.3 PPG.
The winner of this contest will advance in the tournament to take on the winner of the matchup between #4 Capital & #5 Otterbein on Thursday, February 21 with a location TBD.

$6 for senior citizens (65 and over)
$3 for non-OAC students and youth (18 and under)
