The final score of this set was 25-21 with John Carroll ahead.

With three set wins, the Blue and Gold bested the Crusaders in the first match. Abigail Kirk and Follmer led the way with 13 kills apiece, Bartolone topped the team with 16 assists and 13 digs. Calamunci and Nice each notched a pair of blocks.

After a quick break, the squads were back in action, competing for the second match of the night.

Three straight kills for John Carroll in the first set of the second match allowed the Blue Streaks to take the lead 13-9. The Blue and Gold came out the victors of this set by a score of 25-19.

JCU took a commanding 8-point lead over the Crusaders early on in the second set. The Blue Streaks furthered the lead to finish this one 25-15.

Ending strong, the Blue and Gold won the third set 25-17, sweeping the two matches. Ellerbruch finished with a team-high 8 kills, Bartolone tabbed 14 assists and Maddie Maziarz followed closely with 12, and Lexi MacDonald led all players with 10 digs.
