Men's Tennis Keeps Rolling with Road Victory over Capital

Box Score COLUMBUS, Ohio -- As the season continues, John Carroll University Men's Tennis continues to cruise.

The Blue Streaks captured a road win on Saturday at Wolfe Park in Columbus over Capital, 8-1.

The men of Shaun Keenan advance to 4-0 on the 2021 campaign.

In doubles play, the Blue Streaks won all four matches. Andy Siciliano and Mark Beebe combined for a hard-earned 8-4 victory in the No. 1 spot, leading things off well.

Andrew Triner and Doug Moore combined in the No. 2 spot, roaring past Capital's duo with an easy 8-0 triumph. Parker Holyn and Adi Jha worked together at the No. 3 doubles position, penning an 8-3 win.

Siciliano fell to Graeme Green the No. 1 singles spot. Capital's lone win came via a 6-4, 6-1 score. But JCU got the win back at No. 2, as Logan Langovsky snatched a 6-3, 6-0 conquest. Beebe brought another win for the Blue Streaks, 6-0, 6-1.

Jha showed his veteran presence at the No. 4 position, scoring a 6-0, 6-2 victory. Alvaro Estrada Rosabel carded a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 5. Nathan Palinkas wrapped things up at No. 6 with a 6-0, 6-1 win.

JCU looks to remain undefeated tomorrow when they return to the court, heading to Mount Union to do battle with the Purple Raiders.
