Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WOOSTER, Ohio – The excellent start to the season continues for John Carroll Volleyball.

The Blue Streaks took a quick trip south to The College of Wooster's Ginny Hunt Kilt Classic Tournament on Saturday.

And Michele Benoit's team returned home with a pair of victories via sweep. With the two wins, the Blue Streaks finish the weekend 4-for-4, all in straight sets.

John Carroll fired past Wooster in straight sets, 25-19, 28-26, 25-14.

And not long after, the Blue Streaks got the job done against Westminster, 25-9, 25-15, 25-18.

Stats will follow in the coming days, but Cassi Calamunci, Jennifer Follmer, and Jessica Liddle played consistently well. Setters Ally Bartolone and Maddie Maziarz contributed great passes. Payton Miozzi tallied 20 digs.

Liddle was named to the Ginny Hunt Kilt Classic All-Tournament Team for her efforts.

In four matches on Friday and Saturday, the Blue Streaks did not lose a set. That's fantastic, as this weekend was a great non-conference test for the Blue & Gold.

John Carroll now advances to 9-3 on the year. The Blue Streaks will have a little time to soak in the four victories, as JCU will not return to action until Wednesday, opening Ohio Athletic Conference play against Marietta.
