Men’s Track & Field Sends Small Contingent To Mount Union’s Last Chance Meet

Ethan Domitrovich Runs 4:10.32 To Win The Mile At Mount Union's Last Chance Meet

ALLIANCE, Ohio - After coming off a second place finish at the 2024 OAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, the Blue Streaks headed down to Alliance, Ohio for the Mount Union last Chance Meet at the Peterson Field House.

Final Results

A small group of the men competed to gather some qualifying marks and final times before the NCAA Indoor National Championships next week. For some of the athletes, it was also about ending on a high note transitioning into the outdoor season.

The only event the Blue Streaks competed in today was the mile run. Senior Ethan Domitrovich was the lone competitor, who would win the race with a time of 4:10.32. That time would convert down to 4:07.1, which should get him into the national championship meet next weekend.

Final selections for the 2024 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships will be announced tomorrow evening as the Blue Streaks will await who gets in. The meet will take place in Virginia Beach, VA hosted by Norfolk State. The athletes will compete from Friday, March 8 through Saturday, March 9 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
