Box Score WESTERVILLE – In the regular season finale, John Carroll Men's Tennis authored a fantastic victory.

The Blue Streaks rolled to a great road win over the Otterbein Cardinals on the road, 7-2.

In doing so, the Blue Streaks clinched the No. 2 seed in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament this week, and thus a quarterfinal bye.

Doubles play provided John Carroll with a fantastic start. The visitors won all three doubles matches to get out to a critical 3-0 lead.

Logan Langovsky and Grant Sarnowski played together for their final regular season dual. The senior duo rolled to a wonderful 8-2 win.

Anthony Markello and Phillip Gorun formed a nice tandem at No. 2 doubles, too. The strong pair rolled to an 8-3 victory. Griffin Millspaugh and Dylan Westmeyer completed the sweep with an 8-5 decision.

Langovsky finished off the regular season with a dominant 6-1, 6-3 win. While Sarnowski dropped his No. 2 match, Markello stopped the bleeding with a 6-0, 6-3 conquest.

Gorun did drop his No. 4 matchup, but the final two bouts were won by the Blue Streaks. Millspaugh needed a bit of extra time in the first set but came out on top, 7-5. His second set was also a very close 6-4.

Westmeyer wrapped things up with a No. 6 conquest that took extra time. The graduate student started with a 7-5 victory, but then dropped the second set, 4-6. The tiebreaker was as close as it gets, but the grad transfer worked hard for the 10-8 victory.

JCU will face an opponent to be determined in the OAC Tournament Semifinal on Friday.
