Blue Streaks Continue Their Strides At The Widener Final Qualifier

Blue Streaks Compete At The Widener Final Qualifier Highlighted By Ian Paul's New Personal Best In The 1500 Meter Run
CHESTER, Pennsylvania - A small contingent of Blue Streak athletes traveled to Chester, Pennsylvania for the Widener Final Qualifier meet. 

These three athletes looked to progress on their times following up on the 2023-2024 track & field season. 

Final Results

Coming off of the Harrison Dillard Twilight at Baldwin Wallace this past Friday, the Blue Streaks were poised to run for new personal bests and higher finishes. 

To get things started on the men's side, the duo of Ian Paul and Jett Wieber would make appearances in the 1500 meter run. In heat one, Paul would secure a seventh place finish with a new personal best of 3:50.24. In the next heat, Wieber would run 3:58.93 placing 26th overall, running just two seconds off his personal best. 

To conclude the day, Dominic Delmoro would make an appearance in the top heat of the men's 5000 meter run. He would place 21st overall with a time of 14:53.79. 

The Blue Streaks will be back in action this Thursday, May 16th at the Mount Union Last Chance meet in Alliance, Ohio.
