Ellie Kitsmiller Breaks Outdoor School Record In The 800 Meter To Propel Her To 20th In NCAA Division III

Ellie Kitsmiller Breaks Her Own Outdoor School Record In The 800 Meter Run At The Widener Final Qualifier
CHESTER, Pennsylvania - One female athlete from the women's track & field program traveled to Chester, Pennsylvania for the Widener Final Qualifier on Monday, May 13th. 

Final Results

Ellie Kitsmiller was coming off of an eighth place finish at the Harrison Dillard Twilight, running 2:14.47 in the 800 meter run. 

She finally has that breakthrough at the Widener Final Qualifier coming back in the 800 meter run. Kitsmiller would place seventh overall with a new personal best and school record time of 2:11.50. This time now moves her up to 20th in NCAA Division III. 

Kitsmiller will look to qualify for her first NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship meet in her career as final chance meets will happen throughout the week. 

The Blue Streaks will be back in action at the Mount Union Last Chance meet in Alliance, Ohio on Thursday, May 16th, which will be the final day of last chance meets.
