The senior Blue Streak looks to lead the Lady Cagers into the NCAC

D3hoops.com has released their 2025-26 Preseason Women's All-American Team and a familiar Blue Streak face has appeared on the talented roster.

Ava Ryncarz has been named to the 2025-26 Preseason Women's All-American Fifth Team and is one of only 25 women chosen each year for this elite honor.

The senior Blue Streak has been a powerhouse on the team every year she has spent on the court and has more than earned her spot on the Preseason All-American Team.

Coming off of a strong high school career, a freshman Ryncarz appeared in 26 games and started 24 of them and earned herself an Honorable Mention All-OAC nod. The following season, she recorded a then-career high of 22 points against Heidelberg and moved up in recognition with Second Team All-OAC.

This past 2024-25 season, the Aurora native started in all 26 games and recorded a career high of 30 points against SUNY Brockpoint. Leading the OAC in free throw percentage with 88.8%, she more than earned First Team All-OAC recognition. The OAC named her Athlete of the Week twice throughout the season.

Ryncarz's senior season looks to be her strongest yet as she helps guide the team into their first season in the NCAC conference.

The team's first appearance for the 2025-26 season will be for the Winking Lizard Tip-Off Tournament November 7th and 8th hosted at home at The DeCarlo Varsity Center.
