Abby Schroff Qualifies To Her Second Ever Cross Country National Championship Meet
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – In her best race of the year this past Saturday November 15th, Abby Schroff earns herself a trip to the 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.

The senior out of Lewis Center, Ohio placed 10th overall in the women's 6k championship race at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships in Louisville, Kentucky with a time of 22:28.8, which was her fastest time this season and earned her third All-Region honor of her career.

This will be Schroff's second appearance running on the national stage as she will now look to finish on a high note on the course for the Blue Streaks. Her last race at Nationals was in Fall 2022 placing 134th overall, finishing with a time of 23:42.7.

The last time an individual qualified on the women's side was Cameron Bujaucius in Fall 2018. She placed 62nd overall with a time of 22:16.7.

Abby contributed to a fourth place finish for the women yesterday at the Regional Championships, scoring a total of 135 points, just shy of getting her whole team to qualify to the meet.

This is a well-deserved opportunity for Schroff as she will now prepare to lace up the spikes one last time in a JCU uniform.

The women's 6k championship race will take place this Saturday, November 22nd at 11:00am ET at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina hosted by Converse College.
