Abby Schroff Places 90th Overall In Her Second Cross Country National Championship Meet Of Her Career

SPARTANBURG, South Carolina – Senior Abby Schroff made tremendous strides this morning at the Roger Milliken Center on the national stage.

It was a beautiful Saturday morning for some championship racing as Abby represented the John Carroll Women's Cross Country program and posted a solid performance for herself.

Schroff placed 90th overall out of 294 runners in the women's 6k championship race with a time of 22:44.7, improving upon her last performance at the national meet in cross country.

The senior finished off on a high note, tying her second-fastest run this season and qualifying to her second ever national championship meet.
With the 2025 cross country season coming to an end, the Blue Streaks earned various accomplishments throughout the year in their first season with the NCAC, headlined by several runners earning all-conference and region honors, as well as top five finishes in each meet they ran at.

The Blue Streaks will now shift their focus to the track with lots of promise going into the winter and spring.
