UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS -- Luke Frazier has added another accolade to his growing resume of a sensational 2024-25 campaign. The senior has been named to the D3hoops All Region First Team.

Frazier and the rest of the John Carroll Men's Basketball team capped the 2024-2025 campaign with an equally successful season compared to their previous year result. The difference was that this season was quite the one to remember for Coach Pete Moran and the rest of his staff as they were pending the loss of 7 seniors after the season ended.

The Blue Streaks finished with an overall record of 22-6 (15-3 OAC), becoming back-to-back champions of both the Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season and OAC Tournament, embarking on another NCAA Tournament appearance where they were ultimately eliminated in the first round.

Although the program has seen recent success in their past few seasons, this season encountered multiple obstacles where the team had an immediate challenge of perseverance. Within the first seven games of the season, the Blue Streaks found themselves sitting at a 3-4 record along with the loss of All-American point guard, Luke Chicone due to injury. Coach Moran made it known that it was time for all players to individually step up in the program to turn around a slow start and fill in the shoes of a game changing player.

For Frazier, it was nothing short of a remarkable farewell season. For the second year in a row, Frazier was recognized regionally by D3hoops.com for his outstanding play and role as the face of the John Carroll men's basketball program.

Frazier finished his third and final season with the Blue Streaks being recognized as part of the D3hoops All Region First Team. This honor complements his previous season with John Carroll as he was recognized with All Region Second Team for D3hoops.

Frazier – the 2025 OAC Player of the Year, a 2025 First Team All-OAC selection, a 2025 OAC All-Tournament Team selection, and 2025 D3hoops 4th team All-American selection – averaged 17.5 points per game along with grabbing 7.0 rebounds per game. He surpassed 1,000 career points early in the season, capping off an incredible final showcase in the JCU uniform.

Players chosen to the D3hoops.com All-Region team are eligible for All-America selection. This is the 24th year D3hoops.com has named an All-Region team and this year's All-America team will be the 28th annual All-America selections.
