CLEVELAND - The 2026-27 North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball poll has been announced and for the second straight season, the Blue Streaks have been picked to finish in second place.
In the coaches' poll, the Blue Streaks tallied 72 points, six more than last year's poll. John Carroll was the lone team outside of Denison to garner a first place vote.Â
Last season, in their inaugural season as members of the North Coast Athletic Conference the Blue Streaks finished third in the regular season before going on to win the tournament title.Â
The Blue Streaks picked up a win in the NCAC Quarterfinal at home against Oberlin, before taking down DePauw and Denison in the final rounds in Granville with the help of stellar back-to-back 39 point performances from Luke Chicone
This season, the Blue Streaks face a challenge following the departures of Luke Chicone, and his record breaking final season along with the departure of fellow starters Kasey Hunt and Sean Collins. Â
The Blue Streaks open the season at the Pitt Bradford Tournament taking place on November 6-7.
