The trio become the first all-conference honorees in JCU Women's Wrestling history

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS -- John Carroll's Women's Wrestling team has been growing strong for the past few years.

The 2025-26 season added a new wrinkle, as the Blue Streaks joined the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference as an affiliate member.

Following a strong first season in the AMCC, the Blue & Gold have staked out all-conference honors for the first time in program history.

Three Blue Streaks have earned recognition: Taylor MacAdam on the First Team, with Addy Crane and Leslie Sullivan repping JCU on the Second Team.

Taylor MacAdam has made a strong impact in her debut season. Coming out of Madison High School, MacAdam has recorded a 24-11 record this season. The nursing major stood as the 103 pound champion at AMCC Championships. MacAdam has her sights set on more success on the national level the rest of the season.

Addy Crane has made a similarly solid first impression. The Thornville, Ohio native swept the AMCC Duals in December with a 5-0 record. The Engineering Physics major finished as the runner up at AMCC Championships in the 110 pound weight class. Crane possesses a 23-11 record on the year.

Leslie Sullivan has enjoyed a strong season in her first year at JCU. The Medina native also saw great success at AMCC Duals, going 4-1. Sullivan placed runner-up at the AMCC Championships in the 145 pound weight class. The Lutheran West grad holds a 22-15 record heading into the NCAA postseason.

The John Carroll Women's Wrestling team competes next on February 20-21 at the NCAA Regional Championships in Tiffin, Ohio.
