Leah Fritsch Earns Fifth Place Finish At NCAC Combined Events

Leah Fritsch Competing In The High Jump In The Women's Pentathlon

WOOSTER, OH – The senior out of Pittsburgh has gained the momentum for the Blue Streaks.

Today, Senior Leah Fritsch represented the Blue Streaks this weekend at the NCAC Combined Events hosted by the College of Wooster.

Fritsch placed fifth overall out of 13 competitors with a total score of 2,588 points in the women's heptathlon for JCU.

Leah would compete in events including the 60 meter hurdles (10.26 seconds), high jump (1.26 meters), shot put (9.74 meters), long jump (4.78 meters), and the 800 meter run (2:42.66).

It was a great effort by Fritsch to help her team score the points before next weekend's conference championships in Wittenberg.
