Dakota will be advancing to two finals in both the 60 and 200 meter dash races, while also placing 19th overall in the women's long jump. Both of Houston's performances in the 60 and 200 meter dash were school record breaking performances.

In her first event of the day, she would go on to place third overall in the 60 meter dash prelim and run 7.51 seconds. Later in the day, in the 200 meter dash prelim, she placed third overall and won her heat with a time of 23.90 seconds.

It was a couple of incredible races put together by the sophomore out of Beachwood, Ohio as she will now look to bring two All-American accolades home.

In her first ever NCAA Indoor Championship meet, Alyssa Vis competed well and placed 17th overall in the women's mile prelim with a time of 4:56.22, just missing out on the final.

Dakota will be the lone competitor for the Blue Streaks tomorrow as she will look to carry her momentum from the prelims to the finals.
