Weekend Preview: April 24-26, 2026

JCU Women's Lacrosse will host Senior Day on Saturday

With the threat of April showers, the Blue Streaks are undeterred as they gear up for some important conference games. 

Keep an umbrella ready for the weekend! Here's what to expect:

Women's Lacrosse
The Blue Streaks won back-to-back games last week, securing a top-four spot in the NCAC standings and a berth to the NCAC Tournament as they go into their final game of the regular season. 

Celebrating Senior Day on Saturday, the team competes against #9 Denison University at Don Shula Stadium at 12 pm.

Men's & Women's Track and Field
After finishing up a meet earlier this week, JCU's outdoor track and field teams head to Ashland to participate in the Alumni Invite. This will be both teams final competition before NCAC Outdoor Championships.

The meet will span Friday and Saturday, field events beginning at 10 am and track events at 11:10 am on both days. 

Men's Lacrosse
A hard-fought loss to Wooster earlier this week sets the stage for the Blue Streaks' final game of the season. 

Traveling to Springfield, the Blue Streaks take on Wittenberg University on Saturday at 3 pm. 

Softball
A double-double header awaits JCU Softball this weekend, one at home and one in Hiram. A few conference losses have the team itching to bring home a win. 

On Saturday, JCU hosts conference rival DePauw at 1 pm and 3 pm. The Tigers currently stand atop the NCAC standings, tied for first.

Then, John Carroll travels to face Hiram on Sunday at 1 pm and 3 pm. 

Baseball
A split series against Oberlin on Wednesday kicked off a round of NCAC games for the Blue Streaks. 

Traveling to Greencastle, Indiana on Saturday, JCU competes against DePauw in a doubleheader at 12 pm and 3:30 pm. 

Men's Golf
After taking 1st at the Fred Kravetz Invitational last weekend, the Blue Streaks are looking to take home the gold as they host Caschera/DiCillio Classic this weekend. 

The Classic will be played at Sand Ridge Golf Club on Sunday and Monday.
