John Carroll topped host Capital 6-3 in Bexley, Ohio.

The Blue Streaks trailed 2-1 at the end of doubles play but was able to string together singles wins from positions 1-5 in the lineup.

Jad Abdul-Aal and
Kyle Mollison accounted for three of the six points on the afternoon. The duo won 8-5 at No. 1 doubles. Abdul-All would go on to cruise to a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles. Mollison would pick up the win at No. 2 singles but would need to grind out a 6-4, 7-5 win.

Alex Guthrie also had a tightly contested match with CJ Martin at No. 3. Guthrie would need three sets to take the 6-1, 4-6, 7-5 win.

Nick Siciliano (6-2, 6-4) and
Scott Adsit (6-4, 7-5) also won for JCU.

John Carroll improved to 5-11, 4-1 OAC with the win.
