Leading up to next weekend's Ohio Athletic Conference Championships, the John Carroll men's track & field team has been taking an eraser to its record books and scribbling in some new names and updated marks.
Every week, it seems a change is being made.

The weekend kicked off with some runners and many field events at Baldwin Wallace's Harrison Dillard Center on Friday evening.
Adam North and
Nick Woods finished 1-2 in the long jump. North won the event with a jump of 6.45 meters, edging Woods by 0.1 meters.
Tyler Jew made a triple jump of 11.86 meters.Â
J.J. Bost won the shot put with a 13.33 meter throw, marking the first title won by a thrower this season.
Luke Cancilla finished second in the 1,000-meter in 2:45.34.
Max Wasielewski finished third in the 55-meter hurdles at 8.90.
Part of the squad headed to the Columbus, and competing against an elite field brought out the best in the Blue Streaks.
Matt Andrews broke the 3,000-meter run record, finishing the Buckeye Tune Up race on Friday evening at Ohio State in 8:29.53. He finished in fourth place, and was the highest Division III finisher.Â
In the 800-meter run at Ohio State,
Will Cameron won with a school-record time of 1:54.42. He was joined in the top-five by Mike Hydzik (1:56.42).Â
The Blue Streaks finished in fourth place overall with 20 points and tied with Ohio Wesleyan for the Division III lead.Â
At the Kent State Tune Up, several Blue Streaks performers turned in top times.Â
In the men's 200-meter,
Jonathon Radney ran a 22.68.
Will Cameron showed off speed, running the 400-meter in 49.56, good for 12th and yet another school record, giving him two school records on two different tracks on two consecutive days..Â
