Men’s 4x400 Meter Relay Named NCAC Men’s Sprinter/Hurdler Athletes of the Week

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS – After running a top five national mark in Division III, the men's 4x400 meter relay has accomplished athlete of the week status. 

Basheer Alramahi, Tyler Gast, Dustin Horner, and Lars Broberg are recognized as the NCAC Sprinter/Hurdler Athletes of the Week for their performance at the Georgia Tech Invitational. 

The relay went up against a loaded field, running 3:11.82 and are currently ranked third in the country. 

This is the first time this track & field season that a relay on the men's side have earned a conference athlete of the week accolade. 

The men have showcased their abilities throughout the year in the relays and will look forward to accomplishing more as championship racing is just around the corner. 

Up next for the men's track & field team will be two meets including the Mount Union Classic on Thursday, April 23rd and the Ashland Alumni Invite on Saturday, April 25th.
