Women’s Track & Field Earns 20 Great Lakes All-Region Performances From 2026 Outdoor Season

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH. – What a season it has been for the Blue Streaks this year!

The women's track & field team were awarded with several Great Lakes All-Region performances from the 2026 outdoor campaign.

Announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the top eight individuals and relays in each event from each region were recognized.

The women's team earned a total of 20 All-Region performances in both the relays and individual events.

Athletes who achieved this status include:

Leah Fritsch
Javelin Throw: 1st (42.78)

Dakota Houston
100 Meter Dash: 3rd (11.67)
200 Meter Dash: 3rd (24.21)
Long Jump: 7th (5.62)
4x100 Meter Relay: 3rd (46.84)
4x400 Meter Relay: 2nd (3:46.67)

Sandra King
400 Meter Dash: 6th (56.01)
4x100 Meter Relay: 3rd (46.84)
4x400 Meter Relay: 2nd (3:46.67)

Tori Miller
Triple Jump: 7th (11.39)

Paige Munchick
4x100 Meter Relay: 3rd (46.84)
4x400 Meter Relay: 2nd (3:46.67)

Rosie Murray
4x100 Meter Relay: 3rd (46.84)

Anne Rea

This team has had a historical run of adding more and more achievements to the year and to have 20 All-Region selections puts an emphasis on the determination they have displayed all season.

Five of the 10 individuals represented the women's track & field program at this year's NCAA Outdoor Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
