Goals Suddenly Tough To Come By For JCU Women's Soccer As Pittsburgh Trip Ends In Shutout Loss

After scoring at least one goal in their first seven games, goals have suddenly become hard to come for the John Carroll Blue Streaks.

Shutout for the second time in as many matches, JCU fell to Carnegie Mellon by a 2-0 score Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The Blue Streaks were outshot by a 13-1 count withMolly Gradowski (Bethesda, MD, Georgetown Visitation) making four saves on the six Tartans shots on goal. 

Carneigie Mellon, which scored its goals in the 48th minute and 69th minute, improved to 3-4 while John Carroll falls to 2-6-1.
