Al Francesconi led the Blue Streaks both on the Football field, as a Quarterback, and on the Basketball court.
He lettered two seasons in Football before World War II halted intercollegiate football.
He led the basketball team in scoring in the 1941-42 season to earn All-Big Four honors.
