Hall of Fame
As the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Champion in the high jump in 2002, Beth Grzybowski Litten became just the second female national title winner in school history. It was the feather in the cap of a career that saw her become a six-time national qualifier and a three-time Division III All-American (4th at 2000 indoor, 3rd at 2000 outdoor, 1st at 2002) in her signature event. The school record holder in the high jump, Grzybowski was a four-time outdoor All-OAC honoree (runner-up all four years).
Grzybowski was not limited to success in track & field. In the sport of volleyball, she was twice named American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Great Lakes Region (first team in 2001, honorable mention in 2002). Grzybowski was a first team All-OAC pick in 2001 and 2002 and honorable mention All-OAC in 1999 and 2000.
In addition to being the team MVP twice in both volleyball and track & field and volleyball team captain as a senior, Grzybowski was a two-time Academic All-District second team selection and was the John Carroll women's winner of the Clyde Lamb Scholar Athlete Award in 2003 -- the highest league honor a student-athlete who competes in the Ohio Athletic Conference can receive.
