Frank Humenik was a two-time first team All-PAC selection. He was the team captain and Blue Streak MVP as a senior. He received Cavalier's Award as John Carroll's Most Outstanding Athlete in 1957.
In his junior year, the 1955-1956 season, Humenik used his outstanding dribbling, reflexes, and quick thinking to produce an average of 13 points per game.
Humenik averaged 16.2 points and 7.0 rebounds during the 1956-57 season. As a starter, JCU was 35-24 and defeated such teams as Kent, Youngstown State, Seton Hall and Loyola (IL).
