John Carroll University Athletics

Walt Karrenbauer '94  J.J. Richardson '98, Chris Cubero '03, Antoine Dunklin '04, Eric Biro '03, and Chris Heslep '04 make up the 2014 induction class that will be enshrined as part of Homecoming weekend at John Carroll on Friday, September 26.
 
Karrenbauer was a three-time national qualifier during his stellar career at John Carroll. He won 68 matches over the course of his career, including 47 in his final two seasons.

On two occasions, Karrenbauer captured the Ohio Athletic Conference championship at 126 pounds, doing so in both 1992 and 1993. He advanced to the national semifinal round in both those years at the NCAA Division III Championships, placing sixth both times.
 
In each of the three seasons that Karrenbauer started, the Blue Streaks took home the team conference title.
