Alex Aurilio (class of 1951) was twice named to the All-Ohio Team during his Blue Streak career that spanned from 1974-1950. A three-time All-Big Four first team offensive tackle, Aurilio played nearly every minute of every game as a two-way starting lineman over his final three seasons.
During Aurilio's three seasons as a starter and letter winner, John Carroll was 21-6-2, a record which includes a 14-13 victory over Canisius in the 1948 Great Lakes Bowl and a 21-16 upset win over Syracuse in 1950.
