Hall of Fame
Eline was a varsity center for Blue Streaks basketball from 1947 to 1950. He finished his John Carroll career out as captain of the team and several accolades to his name. Eline was named to the All-Big Four team in 1948 and gained an honorable mention to the All-Ohio team.
In his time at Carroll Eline also played football as blocker for Don Shula.
