As a freshman, Griffin helped the Blue Streaks win the first Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Championship in program history in 2010, while earning Second Team All-OAC honors individually. As a sophomore, Griffin tallied an All-OAC Honorable Mention selection. During her junior year, JCU claimed the OAC Tournament title and punched a ticket to the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance, where Griffin hit a walkoff single for the program’s first postseason win. She made the Academic All-OAC team for 2012. As a senior, the Oregon native set program marks for doubles (20) and batting average (.548) while guiding JCU back to the NCAA Tournament. Griffin garnered First Team All-OAC and NFCA All-Region honors, along with Academic All-OAC recognition.
