Dale Kaprosy was a two-time NCAA Division III All-American who was undefeated in conference matches his final two seasons.
Â
Resilience was a trait that defined Kaprosy during his years as a Blue Streak. After being a backup his freshman year and injured his sophomore year, Kaprosy earned two letters, two OAC titles at 167 pounds, and was awarded the 1993 Coaches Award in his final two seasons.
Â
Kaprosy, who won 54 matches in his three letterwinning seasons, finished off his career in style with an eighth place finish at the national tournament during his senior year, one year after earning All-American honors for the first time with a seventh place finish as a junior.
Â
John Carroll won the OAC title in each of his two years as a starter (1992 and 1993), and finished in the top 12 at the NCAA Division III Championships. The Blue Streaks placed fifth in 1992 and 12th in 1993.
