Hall of Fame
Lindsey Meier was a first-team All-American three different times throughout the 2004 and 2005 seasons. She also achieved honorable mention honors on two different occasions as a Blue Streak swimmer.
Â
Not only was Meier part of the 2004 team that won the OAC title, but she also set seven school records throughout her JCU career, four of which still stand today. Meier was named the OAC Swimmer of the Year in her only two years swimming for John Carroll.
Â
Meier earned all-conference 14 times, and was a ten-time OAC champion. She was a perfect 6-for-6 in OAC individual finals.
Â
When Meier achieved 3rd place in the national finals of the 1650 Free in 2005, it marked (and still stands) as the highest national finish by a JCU female swimmer in program history. The points she scored as a senior at the NCAA Championships enabled John Carroll to finish 30th in final team standings.
