Hall of Fame
One of John Carroll’s most accomplished multi-sport athletes, Pam Jimison shined both in the pool and on the volleyball court. A member of the class of 1998, Jimison won the Ohio Athletic Conference Most Valuable Swimmer award in 1997 and earned all-conference honors in 26 out of a possible 27 swims. She is a 19-time OAC champion, including five individual titles, and helped JCU win four league swimming & diving titles.
Jimison was also quite successful on the volleyball court, as her starting status on John Carroll’s 1994 and 1995 NCAA Division III tournament teams would attest. As a sophomore, Jimison led the Blue Streaks in digs per game. She was also the recipient of the Team Player Award and Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year for JCU that season as well.
An Academic All-OAC honorable mention in 1998, Jimison graduated third all-time in JCU volleyball history with 1,580 digs.
