Mike Minjock was a three-time All American, three-time Ohio Athletic Conference Champion, and twelve-time All-OAC honoree for John Carroll Men’s Track & Field. Minjock broke out during his junior year. After claiming All-OAC honors in the triple jump and long jump, he qualified in the long jump for the 2012 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships. In Grinnell, Iowa, Minjock became JCU's first Indoor All-American in 14 years, earning seventh place with a leap of 7.05 meters. Minjock won his first OAC Championship during outdoor season a few months later, winning the long jump while also earning All-OAC status in the triple jump. His campaign culminated with an All-American third-place finish of 7.51m in the long jump. As a senior, Minjock earned All-OAC indoor honors in the triple jump and long jump. During outdoor season, he shined with All-OAC medals in long jump, triple jump, 100m, and 200m. Minjock secured OAC Championships in the long jump and triple jump. At the 2013 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, Minjock ended his career with an All-American second-place leap of 7.61 meters (24-11.75), then a school record.
