Hall of Fame
Jim Ayers, was inducted after an ironman career in which he never missed a dual meet. An NCAA Division III All-American in both 1998 and 1999 as well as a two-time conference champion, Ayers earned 92 wins in his four seasons, good enough to place him in the top-10 in program history at the time of his graduation.
At the Division III Championships his junior year, he placed seventh in the country at 177 pounds. He went up to 184 pounds his senior season, but found success there as well, en route to capturing third place at the national meet.
A four-year starter, Ayers was a model of consistency, winning at least 20 matches in each of his final three seasons.
