Hall of Fame
He was a three year lettermen in both Football & Basketball and was also elected captain of the 1937 basketball team.
Mormile was handpicked by John Carroll legend Herb Eisele to coach the JCU backfield in 1947. He helped shape John Carroll's football program in his time. Mormile also helped develop Hall of Fame runners Carl Taseff & Don Shula.
