A two-time Division III All American Mark Ferstel is one of the most decorated swimmers in the history of the program.
A four-time National Qualifier, he placed 15th in the 50 yard freestyle at the 1985 NCAA Championships and then placed 9th in the 100 yard freestyle the following year.
At the 1986 Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships he captured the league title in the 50 yard free.
He served as a team captain and earned Most Valuable Swimmer honors in both 1985 and 1986. At the time of his induction he held school records in both the 50 yard free and 100 yard free.
