Hall of Fame
A member of both the John Carroll track and football teams, David Jones was the Most Outstanding Athlete at the presidents' Athletic Conference Championship meet in 1976 and 1977. His efforts helped JCU win league titles both years. He won five individual PAC titles during his career and still held five school track records at the time of his induction. His school record triple jump has stood for over 40 years.
Jones also lettered three times in football, rushing for over 900 yards and scoring ten touchdown in his career. He was a member of the 1974 PAC Championship team.
