All-American and All-PAC first team honoree at offensive tackle in 1959. Three year starter for Blue Streaks, spending two seasons at offensive guard and one season at offensive tackle. Played major role on PAC championship teams in 1957 and 1959.
Voted as team's Most Valuable Lineman following senior season. Picked as All-Conference by other Ohio Athletic Conference teams. Also named as the 'anchor' of the undefeated squad of 1959.
