Hall of Fame
Amanda Shannon is the first female golfer to be inducted into the John Carroll Athletic Hall of Fame.
In 2008, Shannon made history as the first Blue Streak to be a medalist at the Ohio Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Championship. She tallied a two-day total of 161 (+17), carding an 83 on Day 1 and a 78 on Day 2 to win by two strokes at the Colonial Golfers Club in Harrod, Ohio.
At the 2007 OAC Championships, Shannon also earned All-OAC honors, finishing as the runner-up. Shannon won medalist honors at several other tournaments during her JCU career, including the 2007 John Carroll Fall Invitational and 2007 Yellow Jacket Invitational Tournament.Â
