Founded women's athletic program in 1970. She coached the volleyball, basketball, and tennis teams at JCU.
She coached volleyball from 1970-1989 (excluding 1980 when Sharon Daniels coached). She finished with a coaching record of 199-188-4, coaching the most games of any coach in women's volleyball history.
