Jared Huelsman was a 4-time First Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference defender for John Carroll Men’s Soccer. As a freshman, Huelsman started his career strong with All-OAC First Team honors, helping JCU earn the OAC Regular Season Championship with an 8-0-1 mark in conference play. As a sophomore, Huelsman also earned first team conference honors and added First Team All-Region recognition. Before his junior year, Huelsman was named team captain, leading the team back to the OAC Tournament during another all-conference campaign. Huelsman played a key role as a senior, guiding the Blue Streaks to the 2000 OAC Tournament Championship. John Carroll earned a bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament, the first in program history. Huelsman then became the first player in program history to earn First Team All-OAC honors four times. Over the course of his four seasons, he played 67 games, while the team notched an overall record of 41-25-4, including 24-9-2 in conference play.
