Hall of Fame
Young handled several positions while playing football for the Blue Streaks. He played fullback, linebacker, and punter from 1937 to 1939.
For his efforts he was named All-Big Four and All-Ohio in 1939. Young was Co-captain of the squad in 1939 as well as a member of the Big Four Championship 1939 team.
